Father's Message

Our dear secretary Jan after 34 years working here as parish secretary has decided it is time to retire, she will be coming up to a ‘milestone’ birthday and physically she feels she can’t continue in the job even though she would love to.

Jan started here as secretary when Monsignor Michael Smith came to the parish in 1992, she has been a great asset to it for so many years. She has worked with five parish priests and two parish administrators and has adjusted well to them all.

She will retire at the end of this year on 31st December 2026. As you can imagine it will be quite a change in her life, so she would appreciate your prayers.

Please also pray we find a good replacement for Jan.

Many thanks Fr Philip
