Our Parish Pilgrimage to Walsingham

A group of fourteen parishioners recently made our parish pilgrimage to Walsingham, the National Shrine of Our Lady for England and Wales.

Set in the Norfolk countryside, Walsingham has been a place of Marian devotion since 1061, when Lady Richeldis de Faverches was inspired to build a replica of the Holy House of Nazareth. Known ever since as "England's Nazareth," it remains one of the most cherished places of pilgrimage in our country.

Our group stayed overnight, sharing prayer, worship and fellowship together in this holy place. It was a truly wonderful and grace-filled experience for all who took part.

Fr Philip extends his heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined the pilgrimage: "God bless you all."
